The DTS aims to graduate Students:
Major Themes in the Discipleship Training School
- God's Nature and Character (Encountering God)
- God's Intention for Individuals, Peoples and Creation (Seeing all of life from God's perspective)
- God's Redemption: Sin and Cross (Recognizing Jesus as Lord)
- God's Family: His children and His Church (Becoming more like Jesus)
- God's World: His call and His Commission (Doing the works of Jesus)
- YWAM: A response to God (Knowing God and Making Him Known)
Course Requirements
It is expected that students will uphold the requirements of the course, including the following expectations. Students will:
- Keep an 80% or more attendance record and finish with at least 11 weeks of lectures and 8 weeks of outreach.
- Meet academic course requirements (including all assignments).
- Maintain Godly conduct in character and behaviour.
Assignments given during the course will be a weekly journal, book reports, devotions, and other special assignments given during the course. These are designed to help you process what God is teaching you as well as to record all that happens during DTS.
