What does Project Affwan really look like? You will stay in a beachfront hotel right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Every morning you will meet together for a time of prayer, worship and teaching. You will have a guest speaker who will share their heart for Muslims: sharing with us about Arabic culture, Islam, Evangelism to Muslims and much more. After having lunch together most afternoons will be free for you to personally experience and enjoy the local sights and attractions. You might want to go shopping, go to the beach or just enjoy the atmosphere of the Gold Coast. After dinner you will meet back with the rest of the group to go out to the streets of Surfers Paradise. Our Muslims visitors enjoy going out in the evenings so we find this the best time of the day to engage with them. We will meet them through group times of worshipping on the streets, one on one conversation, and through the love of Christ which shines through you!

This year, seize the day and join with us in reaching out to the Muslims on the Gold Coast. Here is an amazing opportunity to actually get involved personally in revealing Christ in a tangible and friendly way! God spoke to us about this great opportunity we have here on the Gold Coast to meet Arabs from around the world. What an opportunity and privilege we have to make an impact in their lives as ambassadors of Christ. There is also a good possibility that some of the Muslim visitors will be meeting with Christians for the first time ever in their lives. Our goal is to see them exposed to true Christianity, to be enlightened about some of the different aspects of Islam, and the implications of this on their current beliefs. We believe that through discussion and interaction with Christians their hearts will be opened to the good news about Jesus.
